Reality is, you cannot make any firm plans for the wedding itself until you have settled on a date. So where do you begin…

While starting to solidify a date for your wedding, keep in mind this is also an important day for those who mean the most to you and their attendance is a significant factor. Start with the people who really matter, including your parents, siblings, and bridal party. Make a calendar and cross dates off that you know those who will not be able to attend.

Many couples choose their wedding day to commemorate an important event in their relationship like their first kiss, their first date, etc. Be sure to call different locations on their availability as some venues book far in advance.
